Bicoloration in cats is graded from one to ten with one being completely black and ten being completely white. There are also several patterns with their own names. The cat labelled "bicolor" is the preferred pattern in show-quality bicolor purebred cats.
Black and White Cats
Many people think that all black and white cats are tuxedo cats . But that is not accurate. Tuxedo cats should have a coat of solid black throughout most of their bodies, with white fur only occurring on their belly, chest, face/chin, and paws.
